Iginla Traded By The Flames

For nothing.

  1. You nailed it. I would have gotten more in return for Iginla, and I HATE the Flames! You cannot name a worse GM in the history of pro sports than Jay Feaster. Yes, I'm aware of what Mike Milbury did.

  2. Scott Pioli was a way worse GM than Feaster. Just saying.

  3. I was away and didn't see the staggering return until I got back.

If it was me, and Jarome hamstrung the team by saying Penguins or GTFO, I'd tell him to pound sand and keep the fucker until the end of the season. You know you are going to lose him anyway but the return that you got was the proverbial bag of pucks and a faceoff in the other team's end.

Obviously this should have happened three seasons ago. Obviously the team shouldn't have given away NTCs and NMCs like they were candy (seriously Babchuk?). Obviously there are a lot of things that should have been done differently. Be that as it may, in the current case they should have told Jarome to fuck off and kept him. Sure he can sign with Boston on Pitt next year but he won't be doing so for the paycheque you know he loves so much.

Trading him now after he held the team hostage for his destination of choice (especially after he says he "won't" re-sign with the Flames just gives him the "good guy" out that he wants.

Iggy: "Aw shucks I'd love to be a Flame forever(insert groan) but I'll accept a trade to Pittsburgh because it helps the team."

Me: "Why wouldn't you agree to the Boston deal even though it was better for the team and would still send you to a contender"

Iggy: mumble mumble good guy grin and worse tap dance than the one he gave MacLean on HNIC

What an asshole. What a collection of idiots.

  4. If you kept him because the return wasn't enough and he didn't re-sign then he's the bad guy which makes him look bad. This way the team gets the bad PR because they had to ask him permission to trade him and got sweet fuck all in return.

If they'd kept him and got nothing (which really isn't much more than they got)at least it shows that they have the stones not to be taken out behind the woodshed every time they try to do something with other GMs. Make Jarome the bad guy for not wanting to be back.

A late first rounder with this crew is magic beans. Anyone who picks Janikowski with a mid first rounder can't be expected to make a miracle pick with a late first rounder.

  6. In this particular stage additionally many people turn out
to be anxious and also miserable. You can curb this
virus, and keep it dormant, with a good cold sore treatment
plan. This makes him more susceptible to diseases and infections.
