Rick Nash's List

Reports are now trickling in that Rick Nash's Moustache has requested a trade. Story developing...

The hockey world was on fire with the news that premier power forward Rick Nash, who has seen his career languish away in Columbus, has asked for a trade and could be moved at the deadline.

While the news sparked a wave of action across the phone lines of General Managers across the league, there soon leaked out a caveat to the trade request: Rick Nash would only entertain the thought of being traded to a select group of teams. Rick Nash had a list. And apparently, it is a short one.

Due to the nature of the player involved, trying to figure out which teams were on his list has become a bit of a parlour game. Everybody from your neighbour to your boss is speculating, all seemingly with a source or two who has tipped them off to the truth.

Obviously, this water cooler chatter is probably highly dubious. But how do you know?

Rest easy, Domebeer-aholics, because we here at DB have a crack team of private detectives. We sent them out to find out which teams were on the list, and as always, they came through. No longer do you need to trust your second cousin Harold's mechanic's veterinarian's word as to which teams are on the list.

So without further ado:

Rick Nash's List Of Teams He Would Accept A Trade To:

1) The Detroit Red Wings

2) The Detroit Red Wings

3) The Detroit Red Wings

4) The Detroit Red Wings

5) The Detroit Red Wings

6) The Detroit Red Wings

7) The Detroit Red Wings

8) The Detroit Red Wings

9) The Detroit Red Wings

10) The Detroit Red Wings
...

There you have it, Domebeer-aholics. The list, it turns out, is longer than expected, featuring ten teams, or about a third of the league. Because the list is so large, the team you cheer for is probably included, which means there will be a buzz and excitement around your favourite team come trade deadline day!

We suggest booking the day off.

Furthermore, I think Peter Loubardias Ken King should be fired.
